Artist Bio

Jamie Lee Ohland is a mixed media artist based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Her artwork takes on many forms and is profoundly inspired by the natural world.  Whether Jamie Lee is cooking a multi-course tasting menu for friends, crocheting intricate lace, or developing alternative photographs, she plays with delicate details, forms in space, and the passage time.  She gravitates to the ephemeral and centers a meditative practice of gratitude around the cycles of life, death, and the Daoist principle of Wu Wei.  You can find her work throughout her garden, in the kitchen studio of her Victorian home, and on the walls and tables of her friends and family.
