The Many Moons Series evolved from the experiments I was conducting using the gel plate to create monotypes. I began to notice reoccurring patterns found within the placement of plant material on the soil level of my garden. Could there be a link between decaying plants and the many moons throughout our galaxy?

Monotype, as known as monoprint, is a form of printmaking that produces only one print of its kind. Here, I am producing prints using a gel plate and plant material from my garden. After the prints dry, sometimes I will go back and embellish select details with colored pencil or ink.
